A Schedule 80 PVC Van Stone Flange is a type of pipe flange used in plumbing and industrial applications. Unlike traditional flanges, a Van Stone flange is a two-piece design, consisting of a rotating ring (the actual flange) and a stub-end that is glued to the pipe. The key feature of a 247Garden ERA Van Stone flange is that the ring can rotate independently around the stub-end, making it easier to align the bolt holes when connecting to another flange or fitting.
Characteristics of a Schedule 80 PVC Van Stone Flange:
- Material: Made from Schedule 80 PVC, which is thicker and stronger than Schedule 40 PVC, making it suitable for higher pressure applications.
- Two-Piece Design: Includes a rotating ring (flange) and a stub-end. The ring is not glued to the pipe, allowing it to move freely.
