Installation Instructions – Step by Step

Tools & Materials Needed:

• PEX tubing cutter

• Copper tubing cutter

• Emery cloth or wire brush

• Torch, flux, and lead-free solder

• PEX crimp tool or clamp tool

• Copper crimp rings or stainless steel clamp rings

• Go/No-Go gauge

Step 1: Prepare the Copper Pipe

Cut the pipe square, clean with emery cloth, and apply flux.

Step 2: Sweat the Copper Connection

Insert the pipe into the female sweat end, heat evenly, apply solder, and let cool.

Step 3: Prepare the PEX Tubing
