Installation
Apply an appropriate PTFE thread sealant or thread tape to the male threads before installation. Hand-tighten the fitting first, then use a wrench only as needed to achieve a secure seal. Avoid excessive tightening, as over-tightening threaded PVC fittings can damage the threads or fitting.
For threaded PVC connections, use a sealant compatible with PVC and the fluid being handled.
Important: MNPT threads are tapered pipe threads designed to connect with compatible female NPT threads. Verify the thread type and size of your mating components before installation.
