The 247Garden 3/4 in. SCH-40 PVC Male Adapter with Improved 8-Sided Grip is designed to connect 3/4-inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe to female NPT-threaded components in pressurized liquid plumbing systems. With a Socket x MNPT connection, this fitting creates a transition between solvent-weld PVC piping and threaded valves, fittings, equipment, and other compatible plumbing components.

The adapter features an improved 8-sided grip that provides a more secure surface for handling during installation. The multi-sided design offers better control when positioning and tightening the fitting compared with a smooth, round body, making it especially useful when working with multiple fittings or in tighter installation spaces.

The socket end is designed to accept 3/4-inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe for a solvent-weld connection using compatible PVC primer and cement. The opposite end features 3/4-inch Male National Pipe Thread (MNPT) for connection to compatible female NPT-threaded components. Important: PVC pressure ratings decrease as operating temperature increases. The actual allowable working pressure depends on the complete piping system, operating temperature, pipe and fitting specifications, solvent-weld connections, chemical compatibility, and other application conditions. Always use the fitting within the limitations of the complete system.
